Why Swahili?

Every bag carries a word I learned in Tanzania.

Every time I asked someone to hand me my bag, the same question came back: which one is yours? That is how the idea started.

The first Swahili phrase I learned was “Jina langu ni...”, which means “my name is”. It became the name of the first bag and the key to every collection since.
